God is preparing His bride!
And you are invited to His wedding.
When Jesus comes for His bride, will He rejoice to see you prepared as one of His wise virgins? A wise virgin symbolizes those whose hearts and thoughts are focused on their soon coming wedding and the day when they will be one with Jesus. “For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall Thy sons marry Thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.”(Isaiah 62:5)
God is calling – and the harvest is within OUR lifetime! The soil on which you walk and the words which you are about to read are going to help prepare you for the wedding banquet of the Lamb. Many believers “think” they are ready. Will you be dressed in wedding garments without “spot or wrinkle”? Will you rejoice and dance before the King of kings? Will you be as a “little child,” entering the kingdom in the fullness of the Holy Spirit? May God open your eyes to the price He paid.
Thank You, Jesus, for all that You suffered, for every drop of blood that poured from Your body, for the pain of Your stripes and the nails which were driven into Your flesh – and the agony You endured as You awaited Your final breath upon the cross at Calvary. Oh Jesus, forgive my inability to feel Your pain and fill me with the reality of the cross You suffered. Let my heart break. Let my heart know the tender love You have for me and for every one of those You place in my path.
Have you met the risen Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ? Have you surrendered your life completely to His Lordship? If not, I invite you to do so in the quiet of your own heart… it’s a step of faith that everyone must embrace in order to be found worthy in the eyes of God. “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will never go hungry… everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:35, 38-40)
If you have never asked Jesus to enter your life, or if you have never fully surrendered to Him, I invite you to do so this very moment. The Scriptures tell us, “Now is the appointed time of salvation.” (II Corinthians 6:2) Jesus says, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in…” (Rev. 3:20)
Just Pray: “Dear Jesus, forgive me. I believe You are the risen Son of God and that You gave Your life for me by dying on a cross. I believe You paid the price for my sinful, unbelieving heart. I confess that I am a sinner and ask You to forgive me for all I have done that is wrong in the eyes of the Father. I surrender my life to You – I give You ALL of my life! Open my eyes and fill me with the Holy Spirit…pour into me the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Help me know God’s will for my life and give me the strength and courage to consume Your Words and live a righteous life. I know that for this I was born; for this I will live. In Your precious name I pray.”
