God is Calling His Bride

God is Calling Forth His Bride

He has revealed that the days of the harvest are upon us and He is making ready a bride for Jesus.

The soil on which you walk and the words which you are about to read are going to help prepare you for the wedding banquet of the Lamb.

Will you be dressed in wedding garments without spot or wrinkle? Will you rejoice and dance before the King of kings? Will you be as a “little child,” entering the kingdom in the fullness of the Holy Spirit?

Parable of the Ten Virgins

“Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.  Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”

Matthew 25:1-13 – KJV

Will He see you as one of His wise virgins?

A wise virgin is one who is preparing for his/her wedding. A wise virgin symbolizes those whose hearts and thoughts are focused on their soon-coming wedding and the day when they shall be one – totally intimate – with their chosen one… Jesus.

“For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall Thy sons marry Thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.”

Isaiah 62:5 – KJV

Thank you, Jesus

Thank you, Jesus, for all that you suffered, for every drop of blood that poured from Your body; for the pain of Your stripes and the nails which were driven into Your flesh; and for the agony You endured as You awaited Your final breath upon the cross at Calvary.

Oh Jesus, forgive my inability to feel Your pain and fill me with the reality of the cross you endured.

Let my heart break – let my heart know the deep and tender love You have for me and for those you place in my path.

Have You Surrendered?

Have you met the risen Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ? Have you surrendered your life completely to His lordship?

I invite you to do so in the quiet of your own heart. It is a step of faith that everyone must take in order to be found worthy in the eyes of God.

“I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will never go hungry… everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:35, 38-40)

If you have never asked Jesus to enter your life, or if you have never fully surrendered to Him. I invite you to do so this very moment.

The Scriptures tell us, “Now is the appointed time of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2)

Jesus says, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in…” (Revelation 3:20)

Just open your heart … pray these words…

Jesus, forgive me… I surrender my life to you.

I believe You gave Your life for me.

I believe You paid the price for my sinful, unbelieving heart.

I confess that I am a sinner and ask You to forgive me for all I have done that is wrong in the eyes of the Father.

I surrender all of my life to You – I give You all of my life!

Lord Jesus, open my eyes and fill me with the Holy Spirit.

Pour into me the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Help me know the Father’s will for my life and give me the strength and courage to consume Your Words and live a righteous life.

I know that for this I was born, for this I will live.

In Your precious name, I pray.
