Trumpet Call print

 The Trumpet Call print is the result of a relief I created in 2012 and several years of studying the work. In 2016, I created a photo composition enhanced with color and gave the resulting work the title of "The Trumpet Call." It is a blend of sculpture, photography, color enhancement and computer layering. It illustrates Jesus rising in the clouds with angels blowing the trumpet call of the rapture. Emerging through the clouds are the images of people rising to meet the Lord in the air. It is an illustration of 1 Thessalonians 4: 16,17.

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, the meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
